Advantages and disadvantages of wood
The advantages of purchasing a wooden garden table are manifold, first of all the wood, compared to the other materials, goes well with the surrounding nature and is easy to dispose of.
The wooden table, in comparison to the iron one, is much lighter and cheaper even if it has the same stability, while, compared to the plastic table, it presents a definitely better aesthetic.
Another advantage of the wooden table is the possibility to choose from the countless colors, all natural, of the wood.
Even wood, like any material, has some disadvantages of use in fact being an organic material with time it can deteriorate so it is preferable not to leave it exposed for a long time to bad weather but try to position it under a gazebo or under a canopy, in case of fixed table, while if you have a mobile table you can store it in a cool and dry place when you are not using it.
Generally, wooden tables are treated with special paints to protect them from damage caused by bad weather, this process is carried out during construction but, from time to time, it is advisable to restore the painting so that the table lasts longer in the time.
